Moving On

To a new project. I cut out a new t-shirt for me yesterday and will cut out a second today. They take way longer than they should because the fabric is a huge PITA. Ex-designer stuff I found in the bargain section at the discount fabric store. I can’t help but think of people who paid “designer” prices for garments made out of this. Never been worn and I’m finding tiny little holes (not intentional) all over! And I refuse to talk about trying to match the wobbly stripes, too traumatic ;D

Thing Two’s PJ’s still aren’t quite finished, but they need a try-on and someone is not that fussed to do so.They have been set aside for now.

January 17 - We're halfway through January - what's the weather like where you live?

Today isn't horrible, high of -16C / 3.2F and it’s snowing, but nothing like it has been recently. Massive cold snap covering what looks to have been the entire province. From January 11 to 15 about a dozen communities province wide set records for low temperatures. One community hit -50.6C / -59F! Locally, on the 12^th we broke the daily record at -40.2C / -40.36F, previous record set in 1997 was -35C / -31F. This weekend looks to be much warmer and next week it should be above freezing most days. Will feel positively tropical!
