Okay, that’s the temperature with the Wind Chill (“Real Feel”/”Feels Like” or however you want to phrase that). It was -28C / -18.4F at about 8 am and it’s only going to get a couple of degrees warmer throughout the day. Wind isn’t too bad at 18 km/hr, but it’s out of the North and that’s always cold.
Can’t decide if it would be better to stay huddled up on the bed (two throws, a cardigan, fingerless gloves, scarf and three shawls!) or if moving around would be a better choice. Yesterday’s work is waiting for me and I should be able to snag some help lugging the vacuum up from the basement. Oh and maybe borrow the one working space heater for a bit.
Question of The Day:
January 11- Today there is a New Moon - a good day to star gaze - are you familiar with any of the constellations (and you point them out)?
Once upon a time I could point out many, now it’s pretty much the Big Dipper only. Out of practice and there may be some suppression going on. Astronomy = ex-husband, soooo!

P.S. I didn't bother with denoting the scale in the title because -40C = -40F. It seems that freeze your a$$ off cold is freeze your a$$ off cold no matter what scale you use.
