alteredzedDecember 3 – Make a Gift Day: Do make gifts for anybody? How about cards? I have made gifts in the past, not as much anymore. The family decided a few years ago to stop exchanging gifts. We all have too much stuff, too little money and it was just a source of stress. Now we focus on the meal and enjoying each other’s company. Cards are hit or miss, sometimes I do make a few, sometimes not. And sometimes I just don’t do cards at all. It all depends on how crazy things are (I know if I planned ahead I could make and send cards every year, but that’s not gonna happen).
December 4 – Wear Brown Shoes Day: Do you own any brown shoes? I have a few pairs. Not as many as I did a few years ago, when my wardrobe was all brown and turquoise (aqua/teal). And this summer I realized I was going to have to give up my last two pairs of brown high heels. The feets just don’t like them anymore.

P.S. Re: sugar shenanigans: we were able to get a couple of smaller bags of sugar at not ridiculous prices on Saturday. A check for online prices at Walmart show things are back to more reasonable pricing. Wonder if it was a glitch/mistake or there were too many complaints?
