Long Day

Today. It was our monthly trip into the city and we decided to get an early start. Probably was a really good idea, we were able to head home by 2 pm and traffic was already building. Friday afternoons before a long weekend are always bad traffic. Even knowing that, a 6:30 am start was still ugly.

1. Have you ever been the president of anything?
Nope, have held positions in a variety of organizations over the years, but avoided that!

2. What do you think is the most important leadership trait?
Patience, lots and lots of patience.

3. What time period did you find the most interesting to learn about in history class?
Precolonial South America.

4. What's something you think about doing, but you haven't gotten back into in several years?
Walking~as in nature walks and easy hiking. Not sure I’ll ever be able to get back to it.

5. If you could add one more random holiday to February, what would it be?
February 29^th should totally be a holiday! Just because.

Question of The Day:

February 16 - Tomorrow is the third Saturday in February and it's National Red Socks Day - will you be wearing red socks?

I was going to say no, because all my red(ish) socks are in the laundry, but then I remembered that the fluffy slipper socks I will be wearing tomorrow are red (to match my pj’s) so I will be for some of the day.

P.S. Another gloriously sunny and clear morning, but it was still -19C / -2.2F when I got up. Ugh!
