A Day Of Outs
Today. We have a pick up from Food Rescue this morning and then some quick errands. While we’re out, we plan on a trip to the library.
Depending on how long that all takes, I may or may not get studio time today. I got the new project cut out and all prepared, so I can jump right into sewing. I’m hoping the actual sewing goes smoothly and it can be finished before the end of the week.
Speaking of finishing, I finished the second sleeve of the test knit last night. Just the button band to do, but first I have to make a decision about the collar. I knit it too long, or too long for me. I could rip back, or I rather like the look of it folded over. Hmmmm, perhaps a query to the designer would be appropriate.
Question of The Day:
February 20 - International Mother Language Day: What is the mother language of your home?
Nominally English, but I suspect some may argue with that. It’s much more Americanized that what is typically understood to be English in England but with it’s own specific Canadian words, phrases and idioms.
