Yesterday was not National Peanut Butter Day. Whoops! Somehow I got off by one day for Question of The Day. Not sure how that happened. No matter, I’ll just do yesterday’s question today.

Speaking of peanut butter, Thing Two made us an experimental PB & J inspired bread yesterday. It did not quite turn out as planned, but it’s still pretty good. The peanut butter half of the dough sort of impeded the rising process, so it’s a very dense bread and the jelly is not all that noticeable. It will do as snacking bread and we might see how it does in bread pudding. I did wonder about maybe french toast, but the layers (the two halves are layered then rolled up kinda like cinnamon buns) are not holding together.

Question of The Day:
January 23 - What is your preferred type of writing implement - fountain pen, ballpoint, pencil or something else?

It depends on what I’m doing. I trace and draft a lot of patterns, so pencil~specifically a mechanical pencil works best then. For regular writing I prefer a very fine felt pen or a gel pen.
